Fassett, Wolthuis and Siever to Lead Global Sales and Operations Efforts while CFO platt Adds COO Responsibilities
Santa Barbara, Calif. ─ March 5, 2007 ─ Network Hardware Resale (NHR), the leading provider of pre-owned and new networking equipment, today announced a newly expanded management team to fuel continued business growth, including the promotions of several key executives as well as the appointment of a new general manager for Europe.
Glenn Fassett, a long-time NHR executive, has transitioned from the company’s European headquarters to Singapore, where NHR is anchoring its new Asia-Pacific operation. As the new general manager of Asia-Pacific, Fassett will leverage his international experience and outstanding sales record to accelerate business throughout the region. In conjunction with this move, NHR has welcomed onboard Robert Wolthuis, who succeeds Fassett in heading the company’s European operations from its Amsterdam office. As the general manager of EMEA, Wolthuis will apply his experience as a business entrepreneur, venture capitalist and investment banker to sustain market momentum throughout Europe.
“We are thrilled that Glenn and Robert will be leading our international sales efforts as they epitomize NHR’s unceasing mission to be the most trusted worldwide resource for pre-owned networking equipment,” said Mike Sheldon, president and CEO of NHR. “Glenn has been an outstanding asset in growing NHR’s business throughout Europe and is well-positioned to oversee our emerging Asia-Pacific operations. Meanwhile, Robert brings a wealth of business experience and international sales expertise to fuel our continuing EMEA growth.”
NHR also has announced that Bryan Siever has been promoted to general manager of the Americas, following his tenure as the company’s vice president of sales. An industry veteran who joined the company in 2005, Siever has more than a decade of sales management and organizational development experience. Additionally, CFO Karen Anne platt has added the duties of chief operating officer to her responsibilities. A certified public accountant with more than two decades of experience, platt joined the company as CFO in 2000 and has played a major role in guiding NHR’s financial growth and global business best practices.
“Over the years, Karen Anne and Bryan have made many major contributions to ensure our company’s continuing success,” added Sheldon. “Bryan’s strong leadership skills and acute business acumen have led to record-breaking sales throughout the Americas. Karen Anne also has been instrumental in supporting our rapidly growing organization. The addition of chief operating officer duties is in recognition of her financial strengths, organizational abilities and long-term, global vision for NHR.”
Earlier this month, NHR announced 2006 revenues of $138 million, representing a 31 percent year-over-year growth rate. The milestone 2006 financial performance contributed to positive EBITDA for the 28th consecutive quarter.
NHR currently offers a full range of complete network fulfillment, disaster recovery, testing and sparing as well as asset recovery solutions. As one of the first providers in the secondary market to offer standard one-year warranties on all equipment, NHR continually embraces business best practices to ensure product integrity and the highest levels of quality customer service.
